About Pangramist

Pangramist is a word finder, word checker, and word list site for people who play word games: tile games, daily five-letter games, crosswords, and the standing argument about whether a word counts.

Every tool runs in your browser. Your letters are never sent to us, there are no accounts, and no tool needs a sign-in. The tools work the same whether or not you accept cookies.

The list behind everything is ENABLE, a public domain word list, with definitions from Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913), also public domain. The methodology page explains what that means and what it does not.

Pangramist is independent and is not affiliated with any game publisher. Game names on the site only say which games the tools work with.
