Vowel Rescue
Some racks drown in vowels. This one starts that way on purpose: a rack heavy with vowels, a face-up market of four tiles, and up to three swaps, one tile for one tile, to trade your way out.
Swap first, then make the longest word you can from the rack you end with. Swapping a market tile back out is free. The fewest swaps the rack needs are printed before you start, so the hunt is fair from the first tile.
Words come from ENABLE, a public domain list: 172,789 words after review removals, fetched 2026-11-03 from the dolph/dictionary copy of the list, commit c65f04b. Words are checked against ENABLE, not the official NASPA (NWL) or Collins (CSW) tournament lists: some tournament words, QI and ZA for example, are not in ENABLE, and some ENABLE words are not tournament legal, so for rated play, check the official list for your event.
